Picking the Best Christmas Tree for Your Space

It’s that time of year to bust out the holiday décor and put up the beloved Christmas tree. At Panacche, we want to help make the festivities as magical as possible, so here are our tips for picking the best Christmas tree for your space.

Real vs. Fake vs. Christmas Tree Alternatives

There are plenty of decisions to make when it comes to picking the best Christmas tree, starting with choosing between real or artificial.

Real trees are higher maintenance and costly compared to artificial trees, but for some, the experience of handpicking and caring for one is all part of the fun. Not to mention the fresh scent of evergreen filling your space with holiday cheer.

However, there are a number of ways to recreate the scent with an artificial tree like scented sticks or essential oils. You’ll also be happy to know that with a little searching, you can find some highly realistic artificial trees.

The third, less talked about option are Christmas tree alternatives. Whether you’re tight on space or looking to get more creative this holiday season, these DIY trees should spark some inspiration.

Next on the list of choices is choosing which type of Christmas tree style you want to take home. There are fir, pine and spruce trees, with each category breaking off into subcategories such as the popular balsam fir, white pine and blue spruce.

We’ll be looking at the different shapes and sizes, starting with smaller Christmas trees for those who believe the best things come in small packages.
